Goodbye, Stevie. Hello, Steve.
We have some big news. Our drummer and brother, Stevie Fury, is leaving the Harlequins to make a new life in England. While this is a little sad for us, we wish him the best as he makes his way on his new and exciting journey. It's been a long, wondrous time with him keeping the beat, but all things must come to an end.
Onwards and upwards, we're pleased to introduce you to our new drummer. We do have a rule though in the Harlequins... We only have drummers named Steve.
Ladies and gentlemen, please meet the newest Harlequin, Mr. Steve Forrest. You might know him previously as the drummer of Placebo. We first met on tour years ago while he was in Evaline and we also toured together in the UK while Steve was in Planes.

We're back with a brand new single and lyric video, “Let Me Out of You,” marking our first release since the summer of 2020 release of 'Let's Ride.'

“Let Me Out of You” invokes fifties-style pop harmonies, slo-mo rockabilly, boisterous horns, and undercurrents of distortion as it builds towards a hypnotic falsetto-spiked refrain. Songwriter and lead vocalist, Jeremy Fury says,
“Written in midst of lockdown, ‘Let Me Out of You’ is the pandemic personified as a partner in a relationship who just won’t let go. It’s one of the most cinematic songs we’ve recorded; inspired by relationships, 1960’s cinema, and the occult.”
The accompanying lyric video for “Let Me Out of You” intercuts dreamy black-and-white throwback footage of voodoo rituals, seances, and illicit love triangles as it seamlessly translates the song’s mood to the screen.

An insane journey brought us to the magic of ABRA CaDaBRA. In March 2020, our whole bandcontracted Covid-19 at the onset of the global pandemic. In order to spread a little bit of light, we often performed in public parks around New York City in between writing sessions. Eventually we entered Renegade Studios, owned by Steve Van Zandt – an early supporter of the band and member of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band – with producer Geoff Sanoff (Springsteen, Little Steven, Jesse Malin) to track instrumentals. Heading west, we finished up vocals and mixed and mastered the album at Sandbox Studios in Hollywood, with producer Rick Parker (Lord Huron, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Scott Weiland).
With new label Pasadena Records, new album, ABRA CaDaBRA - to be released 2nd quarter next year - and live dates to be announced soon, we're back to kick off a whole new chapter in 2022.

It's time for an update. We spent the past few months writing and recording new music. We're pleased to announce that we finished our 3rd album. We recorded over 2 1/2 weeks in April and May 2017 in Los Angeles with producer, Rick Parker (Lord Huron, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Scott Weiland & The Wildabouts).

T-Shirts? Sure. Vinyl? Of course. But how many bands have their own candle? Just one.
We're excited to announce the launch of Harlequin from me and Stevie's company, Fury Bros. Harlequin's aroma is that of Absinthe and Black Cedar, and there's good reason for it.
We worked on arranging our debut album, American Dreamer, at my parent's house in Sylvania, OH. Sylvania means 'trees' and there were plenty of them around when we working on the songs for the record. That's where the Black Cedar comes from.
The absinthe was an integral part of the recording process. We finished tracking the instruments and I was going to hold off tracking vocals until the next day. It was about 7 PM though and we had the studio until 11 PM. It was Craig's idea and he thought we should go ahead and finish the album that night.
I was a bit tired and needed to freshen up my spirits. I had brought a long a bottle of Jade absinthe, so I opened it up, and finished about 1/2 of it before doing the vocals. By the end of the session, we finished the entire bottle.
